Cha Seon Chaek finds herself trapped in her favourite comic book. Her plight intensifies as she replaces the lead heroine Cho Eun Ae. Her romantic rendezvous with Prince Yi Beon entangles her new life in a new, non-existent world.
A period piece where a female lead teleports (*in god knows how way) and ends up somewhere under the sky. She is fun-loving and spontaneous. Her thinking pattern surely differs from that of people of her era, and that makes her the center of attention. The lonely Prince, who is subservient, finds himself drawn to her at first sight.
The story is an adaptation of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Like Ha Jin, Cha Seon Chaek travels to a different era and starts living there. It also borrows ideas from Extraordinary You and sketches a Ghibli plot. This is Ok Taec Kyeon’s romantic venture after a long gap. His character arc hasn’t shaped much in the first two episodes. The director’s focus was entirely on Cha Seon Chaek.
The first two episodes have been significantly cheeky. The tale is flamboyant, and secrets are way below the horizon. Upcoming episodes will be able to decide if it's going to be a fun ride or not..
