A medical drama resembling hot cast, what more can you ask from the latest dropped Spanish series which is eyeing the first rank in Netflix.
Biel, the resident of the Sorolla Public Hospital is a neat and well structured doctor. Rodri, another resident still struggling with his past finds hard to survive under his bright sister Jessica. In between life, the hospital goes under fiasco as a medical accident occurs.
The clean and polished helming of the story is responsible for keeping the audience hooked. None of the scene gets dragged. The story takes quick and smooth turn to take stand on tale of Biel, Jessica, Rodri, Patricia, Moa while citing over the legal battle the hospital goes through. It's not an obvious medical drama but shedding light on lives behind the white coat.
Manu Rios as Biel is the eye catcher of the drama. The twenty five year old fits in the skin of the sorted resident doctor is the heart and blood who never stops being himself. Blanca and Borja as Jessica and Moa are the pillars of the story. They know their stand and adding layers through their enactment brings out the twist the story offers through each episode. After Money Heist, it is classic to watch Najwa as a complex and experienced politician. She brings out the fear and tension of Patricia like it needed in the story.
This eight episode mini series is slow burning but hooking. The Netfix should hurry up in dropping the next installment.
