What is your first thought on Who is She! which is the new arrival of K town

KBS2 has successfully premiered the official remake of  "Miss Granny, "Who is She?" The Korean version follows the journey of Oh Mal Soon whose simple and ordinary life takes a whimsical turn one morning. Oh Mal Soon has been living peacefully in her 70s, managing the lives of her daughter Ban Ji Sook, and her troublesome husband, Choi Min Seok. And her teenage granddaughter Ha Na is an apple in her eyes. Pushing her dream of becoming a singer away, she has poured her blood and sweat into the restaurant feeding her.

In the opening episode, it is identified that her relationship with her own daughter is quite strenuous and her granddaughter Ha Na is more like the blanket she always craved. Even her son-in-law Choi Min Seok cares for her more than her own daughter. The time she spends with Ha Na is both precious and heartwarming. These relationships keep on reminding her not everything is bad in her life. Even though Ha Na keeps on boosting her morale, and makes her practice karaoke she cannot find the fire of running for the race to become a singer again.

Oh, Mal Soon decides to participate in a singing competition. But things do not go as planned and she ends up drowning in unfair humiliation. The debacle brings three generations of women up against each other. Ha, Na struggles to make her own dream, gets caught in the embroil, and Ban Ji Sook starts having a fight with everyone. When she asks her mother about the grave and death day of her father, it gives an inkling that maybe the dead is the reason behind the gap between these two women.

And there is  Daniel Han whose story also unfolds parallel. Caught in a rift with an impossible mother, the man is the brain and hand behind one of the successful Korean pop bands. But his mother fails to understand his real dreams and ideal self.

And just like fantasy Korean dramas, Oh Mal Soon reaches a peculiar photo studio, and there she finds herself in her twenty-year-old face and body.

Confused and struggling, Oh Mal Soon fails to identify her path back home. As she tries to fit in the new and unprecedented dimension of her life, she crosses paths with Daniel Han. The man who is determined to debut his new group has his eyes for Emily who looks like the twenty-year-old version of Oh Mal Soon. Emily is a mysterious character and now with Oh Mal Soon having her face she gets a chance to fulfill her dream of singing.

The first episode itself is creating so many loose ends which has built the interest of the audience. As we keep on following the journey, unfolding each chapter of different lives will be a treat.
