Review
Debaloy Bhattacharya, the man behind the lens is a pro in capturing nuances of daily life. In his previous venture of Indubala Bhater Hotel, he left a mark which he brought alive in the latest series. Are our real life much different than the ones we witness on screen? We play our roles. Sometimes as wife, sometimes as mother or sometimes as woman. But rare are those times when we live as human. We slowly lose ourselves behind those unscripted moments, concocting dialogues. The journey of Apola as Sandhyamoni deciphers those intricate moments which Apola also didn't realise all the time. Who is she really?
Neel Bhattacharya made his hoichoi debut through this tale. Though his character is very similar to those ones he had played in screen all this while, he has worked hard in adding certain difference in it. Solanki Roy as Apola and Sandhyamoni did a terrific job. Her enactment as the confused woman who is suffocating in the role she is playing for life has been sketched well. Soumya Banerjee as the husband had little to do.
Conclusion
The story is not just a thriller or mystery one. It is the journey of a woman who has been looking for her own self. Debaloy has kept the essence of life alive and had delivered a beautiful story.
